Wamp ‘page not found’ with WordPress

When running WordPress on Wamp, you may run into an issue with 404 / “page not found” issues after changing your permalinks. This is a pretty common occurrence, and simply needs you to change your Wamp mod_rewrite settings.

Rewrite_module permissions

1. Click the WampServer icon in your system tray.
2. Go to Apache, then Apache modules.
3. Find rewrite_module in the list (you’ll probably need to scroll) and make sure it’s ticked.
4. Restart WampServer and you’re good to go!
